Philip Abraham
Philip has been with Landmark since 2008 . He Started his position here as Operations director , but soon found the his skill set was better suited with the faster paced and hands on side of Landmark, which is our Maintenance and Renovation division . His role now as Director of Maintenance has him dispatching and leading our team of over 20 skilled EPA Certified Renovators who complete more than 150 jobs per week maintaining and renovating the nearly 1800 properties managed by Landmark Group. In 2009 the amount of maintenance and renovation Philip directed his team to complete totaled over $1,950,000 putting Landmark in line with some of the Largest contractors in the area.
Philip grew up in South Omaha and is still a resident of the neighborhood in which he grew up. Philip started his College education at Metropolitan Community College , where he earned an Associates degree in Liberal Arts with Deans list Honors. It was during this time in 2002 Philip decided to start his own company expanding on what he had learned growing up and from past employment doing home remodels and ornamental iron spiral staircase fabrication . This position allowed him the personal time needed as a single father to raise his first child…; his daughter; his inspiration..; Tayler. He later went on to attend the University of Nebraska at Omaha where he completed his undergraduate studies obtaining a B.S. in Economics with an emphasis on Real Estate. http://cba.unomaha.edu/econ/. While attending UNO Philip was a member of the Rho Epsilon Real Estate Fraternity, and the Economics society. Philips current plans are to continue his education at the University of Nebraska at Omaha with graduate classes for his Masters degree in Economics beginning in the fall of 2010.
In 2009 Philip took on the dual role as Director of maintenance and special Projects manager at Landmark when he completed classes in Chicago at the National Center for Housing Management to become HUD a Certified Occupancy Specialist, This is a HUD C.O.S. designation which allows Philip and Landmark the opportunity to manage HUD federally subsidized housing projects. As of January 2010 Philip also tested for and become a licensed Nebraska Real Estate Sales Agent .
Philips latest and greatest accomplishment was marked by the arrival of his son, Donovinne Michael on October 30, 2009 . Philip and his family all attend and are members of St. Peters Catholic church. http://www.stpeterchurch.net/. In his spare time he Philip enjoys all things outdoors , he has summited 5 mountains in Colorado all over 14,000 ft with Quandry being the most recent this Feb 2010. He is currently training for the Kansas Marathon in April , and Low to High race in October , Which is a 135 mile bike ride through Death Valley followed by the climbing of Mt . Whitney .
