Free Windows
Several organizations around the city of Omaha offer free window replacement and weatherization for qualified residents.
Weatherization Trust
The Weatherization Trust is a Department of Energy program that has been repairing and replacing windows and doors in Douglas county for 22 years. This year alone, there have been 16,000 windows replaced in Douglas County. The Weatherization Trust provides the following services for qualified homeowners and tenants free of charge:

| • | Repairs and Replacement of primary doors and windows |
| • | HVAC inspection, repair and replacement |
| • | Lead removal program replaces windows free of charge to qualified tenants and homeowners |
| • | Must have a child 6 years of age or younger that lives in the residence or visits the residence |
| • | A blood test for lead levels must be on file to qualify for the program |
