I entered the real estate market back in 2002 as a Realtor in the Phoenix, AZ metro area. There, I worked with Ultimate Properties, Inc. helping homeowners as well as investors find a home. After seven years of real estate experience there, my husband and I relocated back to Omaha, NE, where our roots are, in 2009. Entering the Omaha real estate market is so exciting to me because this is where we raised our children. This is home to us. This is where we love to be.
It gives me no greater joy than to help someone become a homeowner for the first time. I love helping a family sell their current home to move to something larger because their family has grown. I love helping a couple down size because they don't need that much space anymore. I love it when a family walks into a house and realizes, "This is the one!" I get almost as excited as they do.
Unfortunately in this economy, there have been homes that have had to be sold as a short sale or have been foreclosed and I have experience with this as well. I try to help my clients walk through this with dignity. They feel badly enough.
On a lighter note, I've been married to the man of my dreams, Lincoln (yes, I know... there is a Lincoln, NE... but this is really his name) for over 33 years. We have two adult children who reside in Phoenix, AZ. Our home is rounded out by our precious 12 year-old Border Collie, Newby, and one slightly neurotic 15 year-old cat, Betsy. There is never a dull moment in the Murdoch house.
